Speedlines - What size spacers, if any?
Gentlemen,
What size spacers, if any, will I need for a good setup of the Speedlines on my 87 930? Specs as shown on the wheels: Front: 18 x 9 ET-50 225/40-18 (Bridgestone S-02s) Rear: 18 x 10 ET-24 265/35-18 (Bridgestone S-02s) Thanks in advance for your help. Carl aka 'cburner' |
Don't know, but if you're getting them used ask the previous owner - that is if they were on a 930.
If they are new, go with 11 or 11.5" wide rears with 295 or 315/30x18 on the back. The 9" fronts are good but you can put 245/40's up there. With the 10" rears you can go up to 285/30 in the back. Maybe 295 with some tire brands. I would not go less than an 11" rim on the back. It's too easy to spin one of these cars so go for the most traction back there you can get. Thats my opinion anyway. |
For your late 930 you will need a 2 inch front or there abouts and .75-1.0 inch rear.

I responded to your last post if you look.
I have these wheels on my car. Call Ernie at Ernies alloys in miami. I bought spacers from him and they fit. |
sorry the other post was not you.
Are you talking about 3.6 turbo speedlines or after market speedlines? |
Carl,
If you still need the spacer sizes I have the 3.6's on my 87... I will be more than happy to measure them for you! Let me Know! -Sean |
