I have a leaking turbo scavenge pump on my '89 Turbo. Is it possible to remove the pump without pulling the engine? If so, what is the best procedure and are there any tricks?
Thanks, |

Yes it can be removed without taking out the engine. Most of the times it is the seal that keeps the oil in the cam tower. I would recomend doing this only with a lift.

Its not that bad to do lift or not- the only real pain in the @ss is trying to break the top return line loose.
