which 930 shifter
I saw a thread on a aftermarket 930 shifter in a track car. I cant find it. I just bought a rebuilt 930 ( short ) to drop into a 911 track car. I know I need a new shifter, the one I saw looked really cool, it wasnt stock. Since I need something, what do you recommend? Anyone recall the thread or know of non stock shifters? It wasnt anything from wevo if I recall.

do a search under Hargett- that's probably the shifter you are thinking of. The company's name is Hargett Precision- nice shifter. I don't have one but I hear it locates knob right where you want it and shortens throw. Here's a pic. There are a lot of posts with pics of them in the car and the owners' comments.
