Oil cooler question

Just picked up a new front oil cooler,, My old one got trashed due to an odd curb or two LOL.. So was thinking has anyone put there's in place of the front A/C condensor ?? It seems to be a logical place, it's protected and there's a fan there I could use. Comments ?

My cooler went in today, replaces the front AC rad as mentioned, they hooked up a thermo switch so it'll run the fan when needed. Looks quite neat, i'll get the specs of the cooler and lines for you if you're interested

Looks like a good fit.
Let us know how much it effects the oil temps so we have an idea how many degrees temp drop you get with this set up.
Were you having trouble with temps at the track or just tooliing around town?
I only wonder if there is a low pressure zone here on this outlet side of the cooler under the front of the car to help that little A/C fan push air across the cooler as it is not a very efficient fan in comparison to getting that cooler out in the air flow as in a RSR type bumper mount.

Do yourself a favor, get a pair of these tow hooks, they are available from our sponsor and made by Rennline. With my very low, and track stiff car these have saved my already! They are built to be tow/hooks and mini skidplates all in one.

I'm now running a 993tt engine in the 930, the second oil cooler was a necessity, i'm hoping it'll do the trick, it may not and i'll have to go to the Setrab front mounted style. I was trying to keep the car looking stock, same tail, same front valance etc but the tail pipes now look like this so i may be flogging a dead horse

Setrab series 9 15 row part no. 50-915-7612.
Not sure how it will perform but i'm assured it will be fine, the only part that has me a little worried is the 90-degree elbow from the stock cooler, it looks a bit small? I'm probably worrying over nothing though.

Jonathan, if it is not adequate you could check that the smaller stock cooler gets the hot oil first and then the new cooler afterwards. This should help to dump a little more heat if it was done the other way round.
