Steve,

I do not know if they are off a 930. These actually came off my GT40 which was set up with a G50/01 transmission and cv joints on each side of the half axles. Basically, the same set-up as a 930. I also have a '89 930 but I do not know if they work on a '78. I am still amazed that you snapped one. Another measurement is the length of the spline area parrallel to the axle. This is 1 and 1/4 inches long. If you can determine they are a fit, just let me know and paypal me some postage and they are yours.

If the fitment is not a match and if you can't find them on Pelican, then try here
http://www.dansperformanceparts.com/buggy/trans/buggytran1.htm You can get just the axle without the CV's there. /Tony

Hey Steve,

Email me and we can discuss shipping address, charges etc. Please also verify yours is 28 spline (teeth) and looks like about 1.25" of spline on each end. Glad to hear your Dad is doing well! /Tony

thanks again Tony.very nice of you.
i was just rolling it on in second last fall.it was cool out.tires were spinning.think it might of hooked up a little then bang.no damage to anything else.few scratches on the shock is about all.yes i would think its from just being old or when i blew a cv joint a couple months earlier.did a good job on that to.was practicing launching for the drag strip i was going to go to.
