the **UNOFFICIAL** Jeff Alton fuch my 930 thread
As previously discussed in this thread:
Lindsey Wheels Just loooking for an update on the "new" 17" & 18" Fuch/Lindsey style wheels that Jeff Alton has been working on. Also thought this should be in its own thread. I took the 18" SSR GT3s off of my car long ago and have been running my factory Fuchs. Needless to say, my 16" tires are nearly bald (I can see my reflection in them when it rains)! I'd rather not shell out the coin for some replacement tires when new wheels might be on the horizon. Just looking for an update, Jeff... ![]() PS: My SSRs will be up for sale soon!

When we made the 18 inch center we saw some areas of the CAD that need to be cleaned up. This has now been done for the 16, 17 and 18 inch centers. It will probably be about 10 days until we run the prototype center for the 17, but here is the first 18 center we did. This is the one where we noticed the issues in the CAD....
![]() I do have a lot of projects on the go, and this one is a priority, but I also have a potentially serious health matter I need to deal with right now as well. I am working as fast as I can, thanks for the patience. Cheers

The first new part will be made next week. Pics will follow of that.
An initial run of wheels is being produced and will have a variety of finishes on them from RSR to Satin Black to polished petals with a black background. Before they are shipped we will photograph those as well. Cheers

Jeff -
Hope all is going well on the health front. I'll definitely be interested in some 17" 930 offset wheels when they are ready. Keep us informed!

Got the clean bill of health last week! Yipee, thanks for asking Rob.
Small update for today. We finished up the programming on the spinning machine so that we will now have a proper shaped and profiled outer wheel shell. It will have the soft edge that the fuchs has as well as a "ramp" instead of a radius where the tire well starts. Hard to explain in words, but suffice to say the outer shell will look "fuchs" and not "3 piece wheel" Cheers
