Yeh, when the motor itself was complete, I collected all the new parts (including the Kokeln) in the garage to take to the wrench. I held the plastic Bosch valve it came with in my hand for a few minutes looking at it, thinking about all the opinions I'd read of them, and how long they last.

Then I switched the light off, went inside and bought a Forge one from Ebay... Much happier with that choice.

The analysis on the web site is interesting, but I gotta wonder - even if the Forge takes more vacuum to competely activate due to the design, intuitively I don't see this as much of an issue, simply due to how much air these cars move.

And being able to dissemble it completely in 15 seconds, inspect, re-grease and re-fit is priceless...
