Porsche Crest 911 Dash / Interior Kits

I recently purchased an 82 911 and it came with a vinyl dash kit installed (wood effect). I think it looks pretty cool but am thinking about changing it to carbon fiber or brushed aluminum.

Has anyone else done this? Does it look cool?

All feedback is welcome...

All feedback welcome? you sure?
Then...burn it!! Wood might look good in a Bentley but thats about it. IMHO

With the white faced gauges the carbon or aluminum might be closer style wise.
Great looking car other than that!!

Hi,
Maybe you could get some of those wheels where the Hubs spin, get'em in 24" size. That would be cool too.

Brushed aluminum would look good against the blue. Get rid of the wood and fast !!

I agree. I think the brushed aluminum would be super cool !!

Thanks for all the great feedback. I figured I was on the right track getting rid of the wood look. And you're right, wood is for burning, not for a sports car interior...

I'll keep posting my progress and everyone can see how it comes out.
