It is also listed on the cars for sale forum here too.

I remember when I saw it in Excellence and thinking, man it is so close to being "right".....

Still a nice car though, and just my opinion. I am sure people shake their heads when they look at my car!

Cheers

I just don't understand why he would go with a NA body style instead of something that says, "I am a turbo, fear me, love me or hate me, but I am a turbo."

Good effort, but not to my tastes. Love the color though.

I have those same rockers on my car. The difference is the lettering; it throws off the lines.

I saw that car at cars n coffee on Saturday in Irvine. It looked and sounded very nice.
The rockers would be very easy to change / remove.

The car has that tail and rockers from the first owner, Rod G., up near the bay area. The concept in building the car was to create downforce without too much drag. The tail has to have the rectangular bump in it to clear the enormous intercooler
The car was built to race in the Silver State at over 200 mph. It was originally black (article in some magazine way back about Team 200) . Sold to one of our clients, we reprogrammed the injection to be more daily use friendly, raised the car for real road use, and took care of some other details. The owner developed a case of sciatic nerve, so it had to go as it was killing his lower back and thigh.
Another one of our clients recognized a good deal , and purchased the car. He is quite tall and with his desire for occasional track use, we took the car to Kevin at Automotive Innovations for a top reskin ;no more sunroof gaining a couple inches, fitting our iroc-ish RSR bumpers front and rear, and a complete color change to the mexico blue. The wheels got painted black, and a tribute to the iroc series was completed with the side stripes. The rockers stayed as delivered from Nor Cal. The seat mountings were modified for floor position. Again to gain valuable room for the owner. A few more tweaks and he enjoyed it for a couple or so years. Sold to the current owner in the O.C., it was used for fun road driving until his recent decision to sell the car.
It is accident and rust free, has lots of trick details that will allow the new owner to enjoy a very capable, fast, and fun car And no, we are not getting any commish for plugging this ride !
