Paris Auto Show '74 930 - more pics finally uploaded

Finally got the rest of what I shot uploaded. That brilliant silver sure is extremely metallic, and I really dig it with the white graphics. And those deepdish polished / white Fuchs are stunning!

Hope you enjoy them (bandwidth warning):

You're more than welcome gentz - finally some who enjoyed them as I did and weren't just out to shrug a shoulder and say 'gee whiz whoopdeedoo' 8-). Tough crowd to please here sometimes heh heh.

I've never seen the 2 spoke wheel before - interesting. And agreed on them seats - wayway cool. And the Fuchs of course - that dish is to friggin die for.

Anywho...

So the car didn't have the turbo motor at the show and still doesn't? Any shots of the engine bay?

Wooden engine @ the Paris Show, then RSR spec which is what is said to currently be in there. The wrench I spoke to (shop owner) when I was there also said this.

I unfort. was unable to shoot any underlid's - didn't want to rock the boat with my presence there any moreso than I already was. Ah well.

I wonder what it's worth? BTW I'd love to have my 930 interior set up inside EXACTLY like that- seats, cage, everything- sweet (maybe minus the plaid).

I can only make a guess from the look of those dual exhausts that it's normally aspirated. Obviously this is several steps better than the wooden engine mock-up used for the show (can we call it Woody), but it's too bad a turbo of some sort isn't lurking under there. You know with the big "Turbo" lettering, and all on the body...

Agreed Jeff, while the motor must be fantastic it's a bit incongruous considering the pedigree and, well... the SCRIPT heh heh.

I still wouldn't kick her out of bed for spilling cracker crumbs...

Value... there were a lotta commas and zeros in the # I heard... yeowza. Must be nice...

With offsets like that I'd guess this car was a narrow body with big arches?
