993 headlamps on a 930...anyone done this?
I was looking by accident, and the 993 look awfully close in style to the older
65-89 911/930 headlamps. Has anyone done a conversion(which I know would be bank), and some photo's. At about 400/standard and 1k/Litronic per lamp, it might not be too pricy. , not including the labor, etcThanks in advance!

You will need new front quarter panels / fenders.

What's your motivation for this?.. An extra MPH top speed?
I believe going 'slope nose' (aka 'slant') gains you 3mph over the standard. (330bhp Sports Equipped did 167mph; the Sports Equipped slant did 170mph.) ..Or do you just think it looks cool?

Brad Stubbs at BW motorsports had the best I have ever seen in my life, made out of steel.

The nice thing about 993 headlamp is that you can easily and cheaply fit in aftermarket HIDs.
4 1/2 years since I bought my $130 HID kit, it stilll works great and provide much better lighting than the non-OEM bulbs. |

I think the 993 fenders and lights look nice on an earlier car.
