EFI ? Portland Oregon

Hey guys,

Is anyone in the Portland area running MegaSquirt EFI and maybe able to help me do some dyno tuning? Really need to get this thing wrapped up for summer.

Im running a Spectre Performance eMS-Pro ECM. Hope someone can help???

Thanks in advance!

If you can make it to Seattle, I could probably arrange for dyno runs on a friends dyno.

Trying to stick to the Portland area so if later tuning is needed (and it always seems to be) I can go back to the same tuner and massage the maps a little more.

Thank you for the offer though.

Gumba11, I PM'd you earlier in the week. I'm going to be MSII-ing My car and would love to talk with you on problems you're having. Hopefully I can somehow reciprocate.

AFM744, sorry I have not PM'd you back. I will get to it soon. Just had a second to hop on here and look around and saw you on.

As stated in my first post, I am looking for someone that can help tune my car on the dyno. I could probably struggle through it but I would like to work with an experienced tuner with MS products to help me learn along the way.

hobieboy, can you send me your map file so I can compare it to mine. Im not going to run it, but I want to see how close or far from your map I am. What are the specs on your build anyway?

Thanks guys

Gumba11, thanks for responding. I need to make friends with you and Hobieboy as I've crossed that threshold between plan-making and parts-buying.
Wish I could help you more directly and immediately, but the closest tuner folks to you I know are in Seattle.

No problem man. I appreciate the thought. Trust me, we will be staying in touch. I have found that the more people you talk to about your project the better off you are since you are able to avoid mistakes others have made.

Talk soon!............................................. .......Chris

If you PM me your email, I can send you a version of my map so you can get an idea.

Spec-wise... 3.4L twin plug / 3.2 intake / ported head / full bay intercooler / K27HF / custom ignition module.

I have been using the car on track for >1 year. Haven't blown anything up yet Though I just dyno-ed the car & am seeing numbers that don't make sense (<100hp short of what I expected ) so am still chasing that down.
