Just an update, Merv did post on Rennlist and I posted this there,

"Hey Merv,

All you need to do is send the exhaust and intake for the turbo system I purchased from you and we will be cool or refund enough to purchase it on the market. Here is a quote from one of our first conversations,

"I have done a lot of business with US based purchases via direct bank wire and I've been with Pelican a VERY long time. I'm not out to rip people off. What you see is what you get with me and I don't want a bad name on Pelican or any other forums for that matter".

Just live up to the deal that's all I ask."

AND STILL NO REPLY.

I guess he is not really worried about his good name anymore.

I've still heard nothing from Merv.
What parts did Merv agree to sell you? Shipping to/from AU and US is very expensive; items above the length/girth limit are horrific. Have you been able to source the parts locally in order to finish the conversion?

Brian,

Merv agreed to sell a complete bolt on system. He is short the exhaust from the turbo out and the air intake to the turbo. Merv charged extra for the shipping and most of the parts were sourced and shipped in the US'

I am planning on getting a zork and wastegate dump pipe from you and fabricating the intake. I am not to that point yet but plan on having the heads on this weekend.

Nothing. I do a fair business in AU and not a peep from anyone as to what happened to him.

A few months back (maybe 6 or so) I saw him and he was in the middle of packing house and relocating. Not sure if he's still in the same suburb, but I can drive by and see if you like?

So you never know, I guess the bad name really does not matter to him when it comes to money.

Hey polizei,

I have not heard a peep from Merv. I found him posting on the Rennlist forum and when I questioned him he never posted again.

Other than losing money to Merv the turbo project turned out great.
