Update on my 930!!!

These pics were taken today! The car was supposed to be finished last month but we all know how deadlines go in the restoration world.

Looks great

That car looks great in pieces. That thing will look real nice once you get her back together.

Congrats on the work. It looks like you have been very busy!!! Keep us posted as she goes back together.

Where are you located?

Not too far away

I bought my car in West Hills in December. It was then under the knife for 3 months while I did a mini resto job. Not to the extent of yours (no body work), but rebuilt all of the vitals along with some mods.

Car looks great!

Love the color!
Is that "Fly Yellow" ala "Dennis Rodman's" 993

My take on 930 colors:

Black: Your ass is mine
White: Your ass is mine if I choose so
Red: Forget-Bout-It...Done Deal!
Yellow: Google "Yellow Bird Nurburgring"...nuf said!

There are more, I apologize for not knowing

its not the stock color, it was originally copper brown metallic and was repainted in 1986 to yellow by the original owner. Its not fly yellow, I did a photo shoot with a F355 a couple years ago and its a shade or two lighter then fly yellow, and a shade or two darker then BMW's dakar yellow. I think they matched the paint up closest with a tinted puegoet (sp?) color.

I agree! Super nice!

Are you putting in new windows? Not sure how you had windows removed without damaging it.

original glass all around except for the windshield. too many rock chips in it over the years, it had the sand blasted look. It's getting all new seals though as I used to have some leaks during car washes.
