I'm a bit partial to BBS wheels myself Couldn't resist

315/35/17 fronts on 17 x 11" rims

355/25/19 rears on 19 x 15" rims

Heh heh heh... I was going to reply to the "burn the picture and never speak of it again" bit last night but ran out of time. I was dying.

Eyes itch... too funny. No. You are not alone 8-). Wheels should suit the period the car represents. Twists do not a 930 serve.

IMHO! butofcourse...

No offense to anyone running them as:

Actually, after seeing this, I'm going to have to burn my computer!!

For some reason I thought they would look good. Sorry about that.

While its not a 930, but a 964T, here are some 18" HRE 545R's that were on teh car when I bought.

With regards to the negative comments about the twists, its not your car, so shut the hell up, the op asked to see a pic of them.

oh my bad, I should have used the work "heck" that might not have offended you guys so bad.

Hows that TR3A? We had a TR4A IRS when I was a kid, and have thought about picking one up and restoring it for my dad...

All in good fun - always!

Triumph? It's good from far, far from good. A solid 10 footer 8-). I "restored" it (rolling resto) ~ 13yrs. ago. My summer commuter. Bore'd and cam'd, it goes pretty strong. Total jalopy tho heh heh - just look at the panel "fit"! My kids dig it (yes I don that gear whilst piloting - DORK I am - but it's obligatory):

Too funny, we too had a 4A IRS growing up - one of 3 new cars my family has ever bought. Dad passed in '91, and it sat rotting in a barn for years until last year it got evicted, then evicted of it's replacement place, and I finally 'gave' it away. Saw it on ebay a week later. Sigh. Couldn't justify resto'ing that one, even tho it was his. Could easily just buy a WAY nicer one for far less dough.

That's why I got my '3 in '93 tho, in his honor. He traded a '3 in on the '4 in '66.

Neat cars. Sorry for the thread hijack!

Nice thanks Paul. We had the '66 TR4A in Hawaii, when my dad was stationed there from 1974-1976. When he got his new orders, he sold the 4, and brought the Dodge Coronet with him. I think he still regrets that decision.

Hello Maxx1,
I would have put one of those pop up warning windows, the kind that flash up on the screen just prior to opening an image file. That is if I knew how to do that.
It would have said something like,

"WARNING, THE FOLLOWING IMAGE COULD CAUSE HEMORRHAGING OR UNCONTROLLED VOMITING, VIEW AT YOUR OWN RISK. DO NOT SAVE THIS IMAGE TO YOUR HARD DRIVE, POSSIBLE TERMINAL CORRUPTION TO YOUR HARD DRIVE COULD OCCUR."

Anyway, now go to the blackboard and write 100 times;

I will not put turbo twists on my car
I will not put turbo twists on my car
.......

Does anyone have a pic of GT3 wheels (same dimensions as the 996TT hollowpokes) on their 930? I bought a set a few months ago, but with no suspension on the car for the past 6 months I don't have any idea what this is gonna look like. I'm curious!

Geeze, don't be such an ass. I was agreeing with the owner that the twists do indeed suck on that car.

Your wheels, I think I would like that type of wheel, but without the rivets. Nice looking car!
