Turbo AF

Could some one tell me if a garrett turbo with a .55 cold side and a.84 hot side would flow more cfm's or be a performance improvement over a stock 92 k2700? Thanks

.55 cold side and .84 hot side? I guess you are talking about A/R, which doesn't say a squat about turbo. Which turbo is it? TD04? GT30? GT40? T3?
A/R is just a steepness of cone, nothing else. You can have It's akin asking if car with 1.0 bore/stroke will give more power than car with 0.9 bore/stroke without mentioning engine volume etc.

P.S.
Why bump 6 hours old thread?

You have to know which turbocharger pieces your "custom built" turbo was built from. A/R is only saying which "gearing" of compressor/impeller it has and nothing about actual air-pumping capacity of turbo.

Show us a picture and we might be able to guess where it came from. Without knowing which parts it's built from, there is no way of knowing it's capacity.
