B&B headers with 2000 degree black satin ceramic

Just got my B&B headers back from ceramic coating, ready to install with new 46mm Tial wastegate.

My B&B has cracks at the welds. I need to get around to removing them and re-welding them.

Looks great. I am getting ready to send a set off to Swain Tech myself. In addition to spool reduction hopefully it will keep some of the heat from radiating to the engine bay and help to keep oil temps down.

I just hope the stuff holds up on inside, I was very reluctant to do inside, but I played with a test piece and kind of beat on it abit, it seems pretty durable and the shop assured me that whatever does come off, it will be so fine that it won't hurt turbo. We will see, I am going to run my old 7006 for the first 1000miles and see, then install new 7200. I had this done at Performance Coating in Seattle area, cost was $250, I will post my second opinion in about a thousand miles. Jamie

Looks great! If those header see 2000F flaking coating is the least of your problems...(ahem) and you have your TiAL wastegate mounted backwards..

I have never had a flaking problem on my headers. If they are prepped right you will have zero issues.
