Fuch Wheel Repair

I have badly curbed the rear Fuch on my '87. My rims are factory OEM anodized. I am having difficulty locating a facility that can repair and refinish my anodized rim. I'm not interested in a polished finish. Can someone who has been down this road recommend someone? Thanks.

I am located in NJ, but will ship it anywhere - if need be. I am primarily concerned with the quality of the job; not worried about cost.

Al Reed in CA. Do a search in tech forum and he will pop up.

Thank you, Prials. I just got off the phone with Al. Very nice guy. My description of the damage didn't phase him in the least nor did the anodization aspect. Fuchs seem to be his specialty. As an unexpected bonus, his estimated cost seems very reasonable. I'll ship it out to him tomorrow...

Al also mentioned that these OEM 16"x 8"" Fuch's market value are approximately $1,200 a piece. I had no idea. After I get the refurbished rim back and my set is perfect again, I might have to sell them and get those 17" RUF classics!

Has anyone seen Al's anodizing work? I'm thinking about sending a set of 9s to him, but I'd like to hear some feedback on his anodizing. I do know his polishing is awesome.
