Rewiring Fuse Block
Finally got around to upgrading to the ATO fuses. Can someone tell me the reasoning behind the 2 & 3 way jumpers on the back of the OEM fuse blocks, when there are individual wires going into each?
|
They should all be two way jumpers, some just daisy chained together
They transfer power from one fuse to the next when they are not connected internally I wouldn't dare mess around with more than one or two fuse wiring without the factory wiring diagram, even then there can be variables that may not be listed Good luck |
I guess it is not for me to wonder, just to do......... so I got it wired, to get it done, not pretty at the moment, because I wanted to get the car back on the road!
Here is a picture of what I have done so far. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1220062430.jpg |
ATO Changeover
Congratulations on your rewiring job! Welcome to the "ATO Club".

Congrats!!! The blade type fuse does make me feel better that they will clamp much better. Here's mine -
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1220101483.jpg I also optimized / modified quite a few circuits while I was at it & during my EFI changes. |
if any one is interested i have about 5 more sets of the Zeeman built fuse holders from China. They seem to have the ease of intstallation & look good when set up right. For interest throw me a PM.
