"Does it look as nice in person as the pic sez it should?"........

No....of course not......pictures are nothing compared to the real view (look).....that kind of car is very difficult to represent correctly with pics....and seing it realy is amazing......mainly here, in our country.........that's the only one I ever saw.....

For the painting and some other works, it has been done by professionals (MCG-PROPULSION), a French team specialized in PORSCHEs ......very nicely done....

9dreizig, yes I paid the "buy it now price"....no other issue.........but the result is there.....

I'll post pics of the mods of the front bumper.....

Very nice, thanks for the link.

Could I please ask for a favor? Could you measure your front-to-back dimension of your intercooler? I have a similar tail on order and need to order the intercooler asap.

thanks

Here it is.......dimensions are in centimeters

For front-to-back, it's about 30 cm......

Oh....sorry.....you have to add the thickness of the painting......

I've got the old style magnesium center BBS motorsport wheels exactly like those on an old BMW.
You can't use a tire machine to mount and dismount the tires on those rims because the thin gauge lightweight spun aluminum barrels will bend and be ruined.
Like most people I got real sick of unbolting, seperating, and rebuilding those rims while a big tire is on them after the third set of tires...

Nope not me... you'd have to pay me to use those things.
I'll take DOT spec street rims that can go on a tire mounting machine any day.

Great work! Beautiful...

Now that we know about the tail, tell us about the nose. Where did you get that one from?

Amazing car. You started with an inspired vision and, most importantly, you followed through with it in every last detail. Even standing still the car looks fast. And the paint looks like you could dive right in and go for a swim. Congratulations on a remarkable achievement.

Serge: congrats, beautiful results. I'm sure you're proud. What are your plans for it's use (track days)? Luv to see pics of it circling around LeMans!!! I'm with Dan on stripes (see dpixxi).
Some Martini stripes would be over the top (hell the car's already "wild"). have fun!
