Ethanol fuel concerns
Hi, just read the tech notes from PCA/ Pacific NW Region, there will be 2% to 10% ethanol added to gasoline start by Dec, 1st this year in State of Washington, the CIS injection folks will be the worst impacted if we do not drive it daily because of the moisture content, now winter is coming can not drive it everyday what do we do?
Thanks, Yahow |

I am in the same boat all of a sudden.
Seems like I cannot find ethanol free gas anymore. |

the search for REAL gas
Yup... I've been searching for that as well. thought maybe some small local brands (northeast) like Global, Coastal, Prime and such would have it.... NOT.
or, Hess, BP, Valero.... nope certainly the majors Mobil, Exxon or Shell... nope what about Chevron? they gave us Techron, surely they would give us alcohol-free gasoline... right?

I have been running 10% ethanol here in Virginia for the past year and so far no harmful effects. I keep the tank full and get premium gas from the bigger names, Sunoco, BP, Shell.
If I get pulled over I will tell the cop that I have to drive fast to keep the ethanol mixed in with the gasoline. I was thinking of adding some additive to "dry" the moisture that may be attributed to the alcohol. Guess what is in the additive? Alcohol. Plus, I understand that there are already additives in the mix to keep the alcohol and gasoline from separating. Good Luck, Mark

I too was concerned about this and all the fuel has had it here for a while. No problems yet.
How about a "Stabil' product? Regards,
