Ben,
I'll take it if we can get a 0.8 bar spring.

Brian: When I sent you my parts for you to make up that Y pipe...that new Tial that came in the factory box with the parts and had two springs....one was green and the other blue...I still have the blue one sitting in a container that's labeled "1 bar"....is the blue spring a .8 or 1 bar?

Chuck

Thanks Ben: Brian....according to the chart Ben sent...that large blue spring I have is a .9. If it's something you can use, give me a PM....you guys did more than enough favors for me and I should be able to reciprocate.

Chuck

Thanks Chuck!
Let me get with Ben first and see if he doesn't have a 0.8 bar spring. We've been playing phone tag.

Brian, I used a .7 and a .3 to get to the 1.0 bar. The .3 fits inside the .7 spring. My car actually had the .8 and .3 in it when I bought it.

Brian....You can't use the .9 bar spring? Also....as a matter of curiosity...can you put two springs together like Bspile did in order to make up a 1 bar total? How accurate would that be?

Chuck, Tial uses more than spring to get to any pressure higher than .9 bar.

Bill: Thanx for the clarification....learned something new. I'm just running an .8 bar spring in mine...and I think I'll leave it at that.... a little bit of comfort in some latitude.

I too now only have the .8 bar spring in. I am planning on mabe getting it on a dyno, and if so, I'll throw the .7, .3 just to see the difference (with it utned, of course).

If you want to try different boost settings, wouldn't it be easier to just run the 0.5 bar spring with boost controller?

Chuck,
I appreciate the offer. A fellow called me up looking for a used TiAL with a ~0.8bar spring. It wouldn't be right to take your spring and install it in something I would sell. I can use it in my own car though if you are sure you won't need it.
