Erratic Boost
 

I've been fighting this for a while----86 930 with 1 bar, B&B inter-cooler and flow thru exhaust. Different runs show boost often topping at .8 bar then 1 bar and often over boosts about a needles width. Does not seem to be connected to air temp or throttle position. So far Ive checked boost switch connection and looked for leaks.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

What gauge are you looking at?

Factory boost gauge.

Then, if the car runs fine don't worry about it. That gauge is almost worthless, other than giving an indication that there is "some" boost...
