I had sorta hoped what you said would have been my case - gotten flame with the short / lower restriction RarlyL8 dual out. Guess it's just still too restrictive to allow them.

Having a rarly8 system, does you car pop "significantly" during deceleration? If it does, some flames should be there. Does the car pops during high rev shifting? If it does, some flames should be there. If it doesn't pop at all, need to look into WUR, F/A ratio, idle (too high - throtle closing gap). M2c.

Lots 'o pops during decel - lots - love that. Don't think there's any on high rev shifting. Course I keep most my shifts @ ~ 5,400 and less - power band has peaked by then most times most situations.

Pop and flames on overrun are relatively harmless. It's just excess of fuel due to CIS inability to cut fuel on overrun.

You can also induce flames and (more) popping by removing deccel valve.
