Mounting AFR and Boost Gauges

I finally decided on a permanent resting place for my gauges. Just had to fabricate a metal bracket and attach it to the bottom of the ashtray. Also leaves room for mounting of my remote radar detector. The only drawback is that it's a little difficult to fully see the left hand gauge because of the steering wheel, but the other is in full view. Need to finish rewiring, then wait for the foot of snow outside to melt to test it all out (can you say "Spring thaw"?).

Nice. Similar to what I did except I removed the ashtray and put the gauge panel in its place. My car has a Wevo shifter which does not angle back like I think the factory lever does. If I mounted under the ashtray as you did, I'm pretty sure my knuckles would hit the gauge panel when shifting into 3rd...not much clearance even as it sits now.

I seem to have the knuckle room to shift, but if I find out otherwise I'll probably do as you have done with mounting in place of the ashtray. Thanks for the idea.
