Ignition connector pin-out
Hello
We have 1978 turbo engine. The ignition wires between the CDI box and the distributor was repaired before, so I am not sure if the pin-out is correct. This cable connects "the green wire"in the distributor. IS this pin-out correct? ![]() Thanks for the help. |

![]() The throttle body has 2 vacuum connection in the direction to 2 o'clock. Both is in the IC side. One is 2mm upper inside the throttle body. Which one should I connect to the vacuum pot pressure side (red hose) ? |

to answer both your questions search for "ultimate ignition timing thread" or similar. You can also search for "green wire"
The question about the green wire, pinouts are that connector are not material, what is material is were the shield vs the conductor are connected at the cdi unit. if you get it backwards you don't have a steep "zero crossing" signal and timing will drift at high rpm.
