Have a look at this....http://automotive.speedtv.com/article/chevys-rule-at-barrett-jackson/
pretty similar color ways
IMO...if you are thinking of switching out the interior this isn't the car for you...why waste the money on that when you can waste, i mean, invest the money on go fast goodies. Hang on and wait for the exact car you want...
I still think this one is cool

Yes - I agree that this car should be left as is since there are others - dare to be different i guess hehe
- a silver/black two owner car popped up yesterday here in Norway, and they might trade in the C2S too......
Aturboman - thanx for the offer and yes I think youīre right - however if I buy the car and change the interior I would have kept the other ones for collector value/originality
The car is located in Tarzana/LA if interested in the whole car, if I decide not to go for it

Now - this is then probably not a sonderwunsch "one off" car which makes less desirable for me - and if it isnīt minerva blue - what is it? Looks like the "fjordblue" that BMW E21 came out with in the early 80īs which is a classy color

Yes it is the photos. On my post the color looks the same as e-speedsters color on some of his photos. I used a Sony in Wisconsin evening grey conditions I would suspect that lighting condition could be similar in northern Europe. On a sunny day my car looked the same as yours. Mine was definitely Minerva Blue and in mint original condition.

So minerva?! The car is still in LA where the photos were taken - do not know which camera though

Now I am putting my C2S for sale here in Norway - but times are though on the special car market......might take a while - but hopefully I will enter the 930 arena in the near future

A modest modified white 78/79 will be in my search beam for the future

Out of interest why are you limited to 78/79? are you limited by what you are allowed to import? what are the tax implications?

Looks like factory light metalic blue, which was available from 78 to sometime in the mid 80s.
Here is the official factory shot for 1978:

I love the colour.
The interior is special...

Now that car is beautiful!!! and looks more like the one in LA - I haven't seen it in person you see

Cowtown10 - yes - 30 years old cars only have 25% tax of purchasing price here. For example my 1997 993 C2S cost me a whopping 35 500 usd in taxes in addition to purchasing price and shipping.......

Garage
I personally love odd ball interior colors. Hate it if you want to but it would look perfect in my flat black 77!
