Boost guages...

Found this on ebay. Not a VDO but it does fit where the clock is. I know that the original is hard to find.

That's a North Hollywood Speedometer unit. I think that you can buy directly from them for about that price.

I got mine from NHS...price is similar. They also sell an install kit for $40. Its really just a short length of hose, some clamps and a special 3 way replacement for the check valve that plugs into the brake booster. You could probably put something together yourself for cheaper, but the kit makes it very convenient.

$220 from NHS with custom coloring, red LED backlighting etc. Great guys to deal with.

I love these gauges. I definately will put this at the top of my mod list. So I take it the $220 is just for the boost gauge only right? What was the turnaround time for them to do all the gauges.

Torresmd: good to see you on this board as well. This place is what made me do the 935 project these guys are awesome.

The turn around was 2 weeks, recalibrated speedo to 220mph, 10k RPM tach, 964 mod to tach so it would work with the new ignition from the 3.8tt, colored faces, red LED's, blacked out needles, all new gears on the inside, refinished black bezels.

The gauge was $220, add $42 with the kit to install the boost gauge.

All work was $1,293.13 - and they're sooo worth it. Here's a pic of the gauges with the LED's off then on (second pic):

I'm going to order one of these, I was thinking, does the vacuum reading alert you to a leak in your intake? If it goes to 0 you know something has popped off or has a hole in it? This would be a good reason to get one with vac.

Why are your wheels straight but the yellow stripe on the steering wheel is so far to the right?
