Headers are cracked, need suggestions

My headers are beat and I need to get a new set of single turbo headers.
If any one has a used set of units with 1 3/4 primaries and or knows where I could get a set. I would prefer a set with a T-4 flange but beggars can't be choosers. Ultimately I am looking not to get beaten over the head with the cost.
Any help or suggestions are appreciated.

What type headers did you have before? Just curious why they would be cracked...

They were B&Bs (thats all the reason for cracking...) that I had modded for T-4 and v-band waste gate. They cracked on the inside of the merge collectors and I tried to have them fixed but no good. I figure this is the right time to go with bigger primaries.

Not that this helps much...but i'm having my B&B headers changed out this spring and going back to stock. There is an exhaust leak & ticking noise. (I really like my GHL dual outs though so I hope all is well once this gets done). Good luck w/ your project.

Sarah, before you do that, check this out:thoughts on 993HE vs ssi(turbo HE)
You could also buy the SSI/M&K set-up also vs. returning to stock.

thank you- you likely have the same problem as I did with the crack inside the merge collector- if the heater boxes are retained- B&B charges about $600 to fix the problem.
Before I de-boxed mine- I was waking up with wicked headaches the morning after I drove my car due to all the CO.

930GT, why dont you make your own?? A pair of Burns Stainless v-band merge collectors are about $700.00 a apir, then you would have about the same in 321 SS tubing... cut, weld, and for under $1500.00 you could have a custom set...

just making you think about another option, as I feel that almost anything is better than the BB option....

This is also a viable option, I am thinking about that option more and more. I do not have a Tig welder so it could prove to be very hard, but i could tack things in place and have a friend weld it. If I cant find a good set of Holcombs or something equivilant I will make my own.

Hmm- its possible- could I get it with a t-4 flange? What size are the primaries on those? I promised myself that I would not go with the stock size when I replaced the headers. I am pretty sure the 3.6 headers have to be a little bigger than stock 930 primaries. Ive seen the thread on them and it looks like a good deal. I am ultimately looking for 550-600 on pump gas. Let me know the price

the y is 1250 with wastegates included. the heat exchngers range for 450 - 650 with the flanges rotated I will have to measure primaries again but I think it was 1 5/8ths but it escapes me this early
