Production numbers...

...new to this forum. I've got a 76 that is very original, black over natural...don't know the question, but turbos are the answer. I will be posting more, but have a quick question. Where would one find production numbers for various models? I'd also like to know how many 76's frequent this esteemed group. There are some great looking cars here!

Is this what you were looking for? The book is titled PORSCHE 911 EURBO 3 and 3.3 litre; Project no 930 by UK author Michael Cotton Published in 1981 by Osprey Publishing LTD............. As a side comment............ Until I read this I had no idea the RSR 934 group 4 had a total Production of 40 cars and the RSR 935 group 5 an additional 70 factory built race cars, only 110 all together with consecutive serial #s within each years production ( talk about a special wishes program). A total production of all 930 project cars of 7348 thru August of 1980.

Looking at USA 1976 930's numbers 9306800011 to 9306800530 is 520 cars not 530 cars. Also 0011 to 0013 were destroyed by the D.O.T. so that would be 517 USA cars . How many USA cars are left?

Tails

I'm really jealous of your whale tails, mine came from the PO with an intercooler and change to the '78+ style tail. The original tail looks the best IMO but don't want to loose the intercooler. Has anyone managed an IC with the original '76-'77 tail?

I've always wondered what the story is with the secondary grill size in the tail, I have read that the '76 got the small one and the '77 got the larger one. Then I have also read that you got the small secondary grill without A/C and the big one for the condenser with A/C. And also some reference to an oil cooler in the tail?
