Here you go. What you don't see, '84 5 sp w/7:31 r&p, disk brake conversion (http://there.dino.com/harold/bus.php), Wevo/Ohlins rear adj. shocks (same as race car), Koni racing front adj. shocks, Scheel sport seats, 911 tunnel & Wevo shifter, custom 911 gauge & dash. Fuchs won't work, I tried fitting 3 pc. fuchs. I'll go with 7&8 x 15 Kodiaks w/215 & 225's with no body mods.
I'm slowing putting a page together.

As for SICK engine swaps, I heard Denny Kahler had done a Westy with a 930 motor.

In the early '90s I had (and loved) an '82 Rabbit L, but harbored a secret fantasy to throw a VR6 IN THE BACK. Weld on some IMSA fenders and a cage and have my own R5 Turbo wanna-be. Ironically I've since seen this exact mod done. If I lose my job and thereby have to fire-sale my Turbo I will head straight to the junkyard to commence the abovementioned project.

Fred (Senor Bond?), you're exempt - 1), you're name is in your handle, and, B) you're BEAVIS! <<>>

Holy arfkin _crap_ Harold. VERY NICELY DONE! Seriously impressive stuff there. Thanks for sharing. Love it! How about some driving impressions - or better yet - vids!

Crazy race taxi! Nutty Germans.

I'm sure many you've seen that sicsic silver Carrera'd Eurovan vid with the 4place CF seats and full Carrera dash, etc. Nutty!

Jon, do post up should you find that Westy 930! Too cool. And, I'd love for you to some day do your Franken Rabbit-L VR6 rear'r. It'd be wicked.

This was all I could find in a 30sec Google search... and sorry it was a Vanagon not a Westy.

My favorite conversion is done by Ruf on a 2001 Eurovan. 500+h.p. twin turbo, suspension, 4 gt3 seats, etc. Conversion price was $168,000 euros not including the van. There was a 3 minute video by Ruf, but wasn't able to find it.

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, please allow me to present Exhibit A. I secretly took this video of Mr. "A930Rocket" (yeah right) during one of his races at VIR. He was hanging out in the garage area, trying to cool off and was feeling generous with his racing homies:

The glove fits...you must NOT acquit! I rest my case!

There's a fellow listed in our church directory under the name Fat Ho. No kidding. Can you imagine?
Another fellow who works for a client has the name Peter Breath. I'm not making this up. His parents should be shot.
Screen names can be a good thing!

Well now aren't we being picky. No Mark was bad, now Mark Mark is bad. So I will simply sign Mark...sheez there's just no pleasing some!

Mark squared sounds bad too, don't want to go there.

I once worked with a fellow by the name of Ho Bung Wang....I think he would want a different handle.

What if we all had to go by our personality derived names? I guess mine would have to be "picky little bastard" .

Now that we are going way off topic from 930's, I think I'll start a new thread, and see what shakes out of the tree.

Mark
