wtb scavange pump mounting plate

Any of you out there with the mounting plate that mounts to the engine then the pump mounts to that? Let me know thanks

I didnt use the mounting plate on my SC engine, just the pump. Drilled and tapped the end of the cam and use a pair of cap bolts.

what drives the shear pin on the pump just the heads of the bolts?

Yes..... I guess roll pins can be used in the pressure holes that are in the cam if the shear pin will engage them.

Like chappy said, the heads of the allen bolts are what turn the pump. Just make sure you use some high quality bolts as mine were almost worn off when I pulled my engine appart.

I used SC cams, and had Doherty install a pump bearing on the back. He then drilled, and threaded two holes for the allen bolts. You probably wouldnt even need the belt wheel as the pump only drives on the bolts. Just get a pump, and install spacers in place of the mounting bracket.
