My 930 is here...

Arrived on Monday, and went straight to the shop for some tuning...

Should have it back next Monday with a clean bill of health (passing emissions, and a few other things taken care of).

Got the car for a great deal that I could not pass up. Look forward to sliding down the slippery slope.

Congratulations!

It looks like the car is still at original ride height so you can get the shop to lower the car to euro height and it will improve everything about the handling.

Nice car, congrats! At first I saw nothing but the car but when I noticed the background thought it looked like Colorado - and what do you know, it is! Let me know if you ever want to talk 930s or need any help/input. I'm up in Lafayette.

Cool and congrats. What are the specs on the car:
1) Year?
2) Mileage?
3) How does it run?
4) Did you buy it locally in Denver?

Cool to have another 930 owner local.
BTW Gabe...Guards Red is the no. 1 930 color...I know that was a typo on your behalf.

Car is an 83'. Full top end rebuild of motor at 50K miles, now has 56K miles. Turbo was also rebuilt at the time of top end rebuild. New clutch and machined flywheel.

Bought the car site unseen in Texas, and had it shipped here to CO. Got lucky in a lot of ways, but glad that I had faith in Jones Autowerks. They did all the work on the car, and did the PPI on it before I bought it.

Was running very very rich went it arrived here in CO, but Eurosport Ltd. is taking care of that for me. Once we get the sniffer test out of the way, it will be tuned to CO's thinner air, and will run a lot better I am sure.

Any help that you guys can give me would be great. The car is sitting rather high for my standards so that is high on the list in terms of getting the suspension set up.

Congratulations and welcome to the "930 experience".

Sounds corny but you'll see once you two aquainted. There's nothing like them.

If you do a serch under my username "Slow&Rusty" and lowering, I have pretty good write-up on how to lower a 930, step by step with the right tools. Fronts are easy and the rear is relatively easy if you have right tools (but it is a little more trial and error).

Congrats!
I would expect any CIS from Texas to run rich in Colorado. Nothing like a 5000 foot elevation change to mess up the mixture!

I like the 18's on the car and with the 235/40 in the front, and 285/30 in the rear it does fill it up nicely.

I agree some 315 or 335 in the back would be nice, but for a street car no need to go SO wide in MHO.
