Oil supply adapter for turbo NLA help
 
The adapter block for oil supply for 930 is nla can someone suggest where I can tap into the oil system to supply the turbo on a 2.7 and evenually a 3.2. :confused:

Not that I found. They are available just ordered a couple for customer conversions

From where? Pelican says NLA, part number? I searched part number 930 107 704 00

Interesting, I was able to get one about a month ago through PP. It did take quite a while to get in though.

I checked my order. It was made in early December and I recieved the block and eyebolt screw just before Xmas from PP.

OEM-93010770500 adapter block (check valve housing)

Ahh the elusive part number that I could not find any where, thanks (edit) Sorry that part number comes up as a check valve on the press. sender can you post a pic of this part please.

I think I see they changed where the oil pickup is in 84. So will this fit my case (2.7)?

There are a couple of diagrams on Pelican. Do a search on each of the parts (grey box at the top of the page) and then when its found click on the [more info] link. A series of tabs will be displayed near the top of the window frame. Click on the one labeled "Images". Then click on each of the images to see how this part was used in the different year turbos.

The oil seems to get sourced from different locations depending on the year of the car. I think I like the 964 version best but am not certain it would be 100% compatible with my 3.2 Carrera.

There is an adapter block for the pressure sender already on the case (at least for the 3.0). This adapter is removed and the above check valve housing plus ball bearing and OEM eybolt are placed directly to the case and the pressure sender is then threaded into the eyebolt so you really need both parts (and you might as well include the ball bearing). This is why I went with the OEM oil line (930-107-125-07-M20). It is more expensive but you get the OEM solution to the problem. I can post some pictures when I get home tonight.

Thanks so much this is very helpful the 2nd pic is fine it is exactly what I have now and I am sure your first pic is what I have in my project list and the more I think about it new is the only way to go on the oil supply.

you know you could always just use a 1/8th NPT T and run -4 to your turbo. not sure how to connect from there though for a triple k turbo.. thats why I choose the factory route

I thought of that but the same thing I need a flange that mounts to the turbo if I could find one then the conversion to -an fittings would be great if I decided to change turbos later. I can get a 14mm banjo ( is it 14mm or 12mm on the adapter?) with a -6 an hose fitting or a -4 male fitting I would kinda like to stay stock but I could also get a adapter for the inlet tube on the turbo at 119.00 its the most expensive thing in the circuit. The thing I would like to find is a more cost effective replacement for that tube.

Why not hand bend some 1/4" pipe with AN-4 flare fittings for the section at the turbo?
