BTW, this is the IC I'll use temporarily for a few months (it's borrowed)... it'll do until I sort out a design for my final setup

28.5" wide in total and 12" x 10.5" x 3.5" cores (excuse the fuzzy snaps)

Still undecided hether I'll have these K16's modded to K16/24's, K16/16G's or mod the heat exchangers for GT28RS's.

Cheapest option would be K16/24 hybrids or K16/16G's...

With those cold sides the size they are you'll have instant spool up just off idle About the same as mine. Keep us posted.

Thats the GSF inter cooler- how is it in real life? looks like a pretty nice piece.
+1 on what reaper says, that car will make boost real quick- not the same way I would go but will be a blast to drive. Im more patient when it comes to my boost

Gabriel, that's the idea I think once I get them turned into hybrids, they simply machine out the inside of the compressor cover to fit the larger 16G compressor. I heard the newer gen 16G compressors are fairly light... possibly even lighter than these archaic K16 compressors!

Kris, I don't think my mate bought it off GSF... he had it made by another mob, but based it on the GSF design. It does look like a nice piece, however, I'd prefer the end tanks to be a smoother flowing design. It'll do me for now. I'll hook up my digital intercooler gauge to monitor efficiency.

I'm hoping for fast boost response and good top end efficiency too. It's a street car, so I'm not after massive HP numbers for bragging rights
