930 Classic or Conventional Insurance Poll
All,
I am looking at renewing my 'collector' type insurance and thought it might be helpful to post the specifics of the policy for the purposes of some group comparison shopping. If you're willing to participate, I would propose that we use a common format so that we can hopefully identify some pricing and service trends. It could certainly be that I'm using the wrong company and I am hoping to see what else is out there. I'll go first: Vehicle - '86 930 Stock or Modified - Modified Insurance Co - American Collectors Agreed Insured Value - 75k Annual Mileage Limit - 2500 mi Other driving limits - Yes, no driving to work Annual Premium - $1200 Ease of filing claim - unknown Deductables - $1000 Thanks! I have all four of my 911s with Hagerty, insured for a wide spread of value and couldn't be happier with the service or the rates:
$28K ('80 SC) $75K ('79 930) $125K ('69 S) $225K ('66) The '66 got rear-ended (WTF, right?) and Hagerty was a breeze to deal with - uninsured motorist hit me, too. No hassles. Checks got cut, repairs got made, and I'm sticking with Hagerty. Couldn't be happier. $1,115.00/year, all four cars. ZERO deductible.
