police 911

http://blog.al.com/spotnews/2009/02/hoover_alabama_police_unveil_n.html

I just happened on this article. I found the comments to be somewhat amusing. People arguing over what the cops should have done with the porsche.

I love how people make Police out to be this big, bad force- the only way they catch anything is if they stumble upon it- rarely by brain work.

Any way- big damed deal, they got confiscated a $20,000 car that likely has a rear main seal leak.

185 mph top speed my @ss..

Interesting article though, thanks for posting.

I never thought of that. Hope the rear main seal doesn't blow at a bad time.

My opinion of their uselessness will not change, certainly not with your comment- hahaha

Now back to the thread...
I think it would be funny if that 996 dropped a cylinder liner while in pursuit of a criminal, it would be poetic justice hahaha.

Ouch dude.

Okay this thread is heading in the wrong direction. Maybe we should just let it die.

okokok- the cylinder liner would be good though, a typical first gen water cooled problem reaking havok on even the police- that would be amusing.

Next thing we'll hear is that they are taking the cops to the Porsche Experience at Barber Motorsports, here in B'ham, to teach them how to drive a P-car...

I would think he is crying more over the 10 kilos of cocaine. At 50.00 per gram that is $985,600 bucks vs a car (2001) worth 28~35 thousand.
