Mounting an Electric Oil Scavenge Pump

Just after some input from you guys as to where would be the best place to mount a an electric oil scavenge pump in the Carrera engine bay, for my TT conversion.

I guess it needs to be in an area which gets some decent air flow, so it doesn't overheat?

It's a street car, so I don't think it'd be too stressed out

This is an issue that I have not resolved yet as well. Doing a TT conversion may make it more of a challenge. Where were you planning on dumping the oil?

Here is a picture of Princeton's TT 993 conversion that shows the scavenge pump mounted in the center rear.

Well place the pump where ever you feel is best- then I would dump it into one of the lower valve covers or even the plate in the top of the motor (stock 965 location I think...) I would try to mount the pump at least level with the turbos.

Yes, I was thinking of dumping it back into the left lower valve cover.

Princeton's setup is sweet!
