interesting car to say the least...

haha.. i was just browsing around and saw this thing.. i don't really no anything about it.. but i was wondering if anyone on here knew anything about the Gemballa Avalanche.. thought i would post it up.. since its a little off the wall...

not a huge fan.. but interesting..

Looks like the same dealer in Japan also has a 'vert. Only 15 made and 3 of them for sale at the same time. Odd.

the one on ebay is sketchy if you ask me!! i wonder what he thinks that body is worth?? because thats about all thats left...
it might be a rare car.. but... who was on crack when they drew those lines!! hahaha

i saw that japanese website reference a 750hp... i wonder if theres any truth to those claims... haha

I saw one in person a Road America around mid 80s in dark blue. It did seem a little over the top in that color BUT WHITE does not do well for it. Any how the one on ebay for sale looks more like a unfinished Kit project. If not and is a real documented Gembella, and there are more than just a few people who would want one, there is a big difference between what it would take to put it back to original and to get even 15% of what the other seller wants, if anyone has the stomach for doing it.

There was one for sale either last year or the year before at Hershey.. Pearl white also and they are definitely over the top!

I understand the draw of unique styling, but this one goes beyond the max in my opinion. This looks like something Batman would drive (except for the color, and I'm partial to white in the first place). As a 930, even a slantnose, it's lost all it's identity.
