So does anyone know the answer for the stock sway bar? I really don't want to fork out the cash for the Weltmeister or ER sway bars at this time.

Ok, for the record and for any that search this in the future. I spoke with Chuck Moreland at Elephant Racing today and he clarified the situation. What I considered "binding" is not binding to him. I thought the a-arms should be aligned so well that they should swing free on their own much like a pendulum with almost no resistance to movement. Chuck said if takes about 2 lbs of force to move them through their range they are good. If it takes 20 lbs of force then there is a real issue. Mine don't even take 2 lbs of force. It came down to what you consider "excessive force". Chuck cleared that up. Thanks for all the help guys, I can take out the extra spacers I thought I needed now.

I don't see how you can check it with the stock sway bar unless it's out. Once you check the A arms, you have to assume when you re-install the sway bar that they move freely.
