Hey guys, I'm one of the organizing helpers for the June meet up in North Carolina. Its a 930 meet, just about all modded and all bad as hell - including Prials' super nice white 930.

Watch the other thread to see it get planned out for the North Eastern guys - we'll be basing out of Zuffenhaus Race & Fab shop most likely.

That drive is going to be 'the stuff of legends' make no mistake.

How many interested from this board on a midwest venue?

No 930 here, but I would love to go to something like this !

Some new information I received. I am in touch with Bonham's& Butterfield as they are sponsoring the Porsche part of the Laguna Seca races. They informed that the weekend prior to the August 14th weekend sale at the Quail Lodge concourse which is where their auction is located , that the Laguna seca Race track will be open for practice and general looking as many of the cars that will be sold at the auctions will be displayed and driven then, it's especially nice for the Europe racers ( Kremers, factory Porsche racers among others ). It is a non publicized event so if you happen to be close by or get to that week of festivities early!!!! I may have one in the Bonham's auction and they mentioned these events as a good idea to get it there early. Also mentioned that during the week of the 9th to the 16th an escorted tour on the public street also for participating cars. There is just to much to do in a weekend, so some are spreading it out. Again for those who live near it is a great opportunity without the crowds to get some quality time in.

Did some scouting over the weekend .....

Photo credit Duk (of Bill fame)

Taken on the south side of 215 coming off the Blue ridge Parkway just entering into the meaty part of "Burning Brake Road".

Looking forward to the big run.

This is your run! Its going to be up the road from Atlanta by only a couple of hours. If the Drendel run was a warm-up for the big show .... the thread on this run will be epic.
