ICV question

I'm sure someone will know the answer to this rookie question: I've been using the stock throttle body boot for my low boost 3.2 application. I've just replaced the old worn out boot with a new silicone replacement. The problem is that the new piece doesn't have the hole for the nipple to hook up the ICV. There are a few vacuum points that I can tap into, but they are all below the throttle plate. Will this effect how the idle control valve operates? If so are there any other ideas? Ive seen a bunch of 3.2 turbos here in the past with the silicone boot, where are they hooking up the ICV?

The ICV needs to bypass air across the TB, so the inlet port has to be above it and usually has to be 1/2" or larger. Can you weld a bung onto your intercooler?

ATPTurbo sells these, which MIGHT be suitable

Thanks guys. That answered my question. 125shifter; Im not running an intercooler (low boost 7psi) but the piece that JMA posted is perfect.

You may just need to figure out how to couple it to your TB and AFM
