Why not just put a Carrera rubber on the 930 tail.

Turboo934, is that intercooler larger than a 996TT cooler?

Keith: The inter-cooler on Cristine is 20X11X3, that is with two tanks 3X2.5X11. So the core is 15X11X3, it's still larger than a 3.3s inter-cooler.

Con Rods

Started inspecting my parts, I have a concern on the rods. When they were balanced they shaved the squared shoulder where the cap & rod meet on 4 of them. I'm concerned about this , I'm using Raceware rod bolts. All pic's I've seen in my books show not shaving this area.Do I have a problem or is this ok?I will post pic's later. They also removed numbers on the pistons that matched the cylinders. What do I do here?

I think you are OK. That's where mine were lightened as well. No really other place to lighten them I think.

Were the piston/cylinder numbers written in ink or etched? Are they new, used or re-conditioned?They may have etched the numbers somewhere else.

Check the gap between the new rings and the ring lands. New rings can grab the cylinder walls and wobble in the ring grooves, eventually killing the pistons.

That's what I've read anyway...

Parts are parts

Ring gaps are in spec., was one of the first thing I checked . Cristines motor only had 40K miles on it, so the P&Cs are in good shape. Thanks for your advice A930Rocket. Got my other set of SC cams yesterday, as mine had a scored lobe on the left cam. They're repairable ,but I'll do that later or sell them off , they are an SC grind from Web Cam also. Everything is here now to start the buildLet the build begin !!!

In the beginning there were PARTS

The crankshaft that came out of Cristine #91610201600 was replaced with the same.
