Feeler- Performance Development's CF airbox....
Ok, instead of getting off topic on the other post, I have started a new thread for the CF airbox from Neil Harvey that DonE posted about.
I received an email from Neil Harvey today in reference to the custom CF air box. He stated that he did not have a price as of right now, but still has all of the tooling and molds to make as many as we need or want. He asked how much interest is there for this air box? Obviously, the more he makes, the cheaper per unit they will be... so, who is interested in this??? I am... I will start the list.. 1. Turbobrat930 ( Brad) Pics of the CF airbox for reference... http://members.cox.net/turbobratmoto...1240278781.jpg http://members.cox.net/turbobratmoto...1240283428.jpg http://members.cox.net/turbobratmoto...1240283601.jpg |
kind of interested depending on price
|
I creamed when I first saw it- How much money and how much can it flow horsepower wise?
|
What the hell happened to it, did it lay out in the sun and melt?
Seriously where does this thing go? |
Brian, It fits inside of the left rear wheel well. With the front part of the box ( where the air enters) fitting either in the air intake that the slant nose has.... Or, as I have it, a C-2 turbo s air duct ( mine is molded into the rocker panel).
I have NO idea what these are going to cost, but would need to talk to Neil more about it.... I would like to see them below $500 a piece...( hell, for all I know..they could be $200 or so) Obviously, this would only be for cars WITHOUT CIS.. EFI only..... |
I'm interested depending on price. I'd also like to see it on a car.
