Sandy says "hi"...hugs and kisses

Well brothers and sisters sorry I've been out of touch. I'm still getting used to my new schedule in Porsche sales...so I just haven't had much time for the forums these days. At any rate, this was taken at my new employer. My car in the middle, a GT3 on the left, the new Turbo on the right:

Jeff, u live! Looks like your 930 is being ganged up on by it's water-cooled breatheren. I still love the cool, classic simplicity of the 930 in comparison to the new stuff.

Gotta stop by and say hey and maybe get a ride in the new GT3 or GT2 perhaps?

It seems you're getting acquainted with your new boss. Agree with Justin, the 930 is so much cleaner looking "and compact" than the liquid cooled brothers...

Forgot to mention how small Jeff's car looks compared to the newer cars (and better looking).

All the very best to you, dude. Selling high-end cars right now is almost as tough as being a financial advisor for Merrill Lynch.

Sorry, but that GT3 would be in my garage over my 930.

Me too! The one pictured is an '07 and belongs to a customer (not my customer). It's really a stunning car!

Jeff ...I mean Sandy Baybee - I saw your other post where you talked about your leap from IT to selling Porsches, I wish you the very very best in all your endeavors bro. You are a good guy, I am sure if I lived closer to you, we would be corrupting each other frequently.

How are Porsche sales now, what are you seeing in the market, slowed down or plateau?

Your thoughts for the future?

Wazzup, 'Rusty? Agreed, we'd be in trouble if we lived closer! I've sold a few already. It's a lot of work. Lots of follow-up...lots of test drives that don't lead any where. But that's the name of the game. There are far worse cars to be test driving . The demand for "pre-owned" cars is actually quite high, so that helps. And there are those customers that have remained relatively uneffected by the economy and can buy whatever they want, whenever they want. I'm with the right dealer, with the right support, and the right staff, so I have a future. The rest is up to me.

I agree with you guys about the size of the "older" cars compared to the latest. My car looks tiny!!!

The 930 looks alive, it seems much more organic, while the other cars seem more modern but less individual.

Way cool picture!

Just for the record, the thing I like about the "new" cars (Carrera S ) is how easy they make it!!! In no time at all, your driving like freaking Hans Stuck!!!! It's effortless!!! You can push the cars to the very edge, and still be safe!

BENDER LIVES!

8-)

What up our friend? Good to hear from you as always. Tho, I'll argue - a tad (quite, really) altogether entirely too normal a post from you. You should be ashamed - I am. Heh heh.

Great pic, really dig it.

Agreed w/ the most - the GT3 looks astounding. Notatall a fan of the GT2 nose (not that I'd kick her out of bed for spilling cracker crumbs or anything butofcourse). Yours does look quite fine amongst - timeless! You have H4's I think? My gawd do I simply need a set - they really set the noses of our cars off IMO. Sigh.

Anywho... best you hope yer keepin yer lateJune sched. open and available. If not - dood - srsly - we're all gonna pop into yer shop there, slip you some Special K / Roofies, daterape yer GT3/2 arse and otherwise have our way witchyous. Yeah. Beware - BISH! Dare ya to test if I keed. Yep.

8-), again!

Hope yer schwell! See you in a few weekses...

Geez, where's the fun in that? Seriously tho, been thinking about a used, low miles Cayman as a foul weather/winter driver now that the Z is getting up there in the miles. Might be coming by in the future.

Dude...we have two Cayman S' in stock that are both 2008 models, never titled (new cars) that are being sold at a serious discount...gots to move them as we have 2009 models on the lot. The Cayman is like a freaking go-kart! Handling is INSANE!
