ST---ST---Stuttering

I have been trying to narrow down why my '86 930 seems to "stutter", so I bought an AFR gauge and mounted it permanently. Here is what I am seeing: If I keep RPM,s revved, regardless of gear, seems to run perfect. If I am just "cruising", say in 3rd or 4th gear around 2500 RPM, my afr will suddenly go to 10.5. If I downshift, get the RPM's up past 3200 or so, AFR goes back to 12 or 13 and runs fine. Seems like when low RPM's and I "give it a little throttle" is when it starts to stutter. Any suggestions? Possible leaking injector(s)? I am running European head, Kokeln Intercooler, K29 (i think) turbo. Thanks
