[QUOTE=kach22i;8049228]I'd like to see an underbelly shot of that exhaust system.

Exhaust looks like a factory Euro system with the heater box shields removed. Always wondered what the pipes in there looked like.

Ah, ^that^ is my bud Jamie's pop's car... the 930/911RSR mid-enginedTT creation. Nearing completion, nearing roadready... insanity - stay tooned fer updates!

now

hellhairyass necroposted thread

what's funniest is...

my involvement last had me considering plugging the tit-mount-holes as noted above

the funny part is - this literally took me onnnnnnly nearly 5yrs exactly apparently to get done right

I'd just run w/ painted plugs - was 'OK' but I wanted to do it right. I briefly toyed w/ the BKreigsr graduated vent and lower valance perf's... he even ohsocool'ly shared his .xl files with me so I could template it. Decided it was a bit more aggressive than I wanted to go, not to mention my cut weld 'n fab guy said it'd be a metric arseload of work.

Just got rear bumper back from said weld buddy - filled all the holes, added a tiny pair to tack down the inner ends of the rubber strips like the OE ones further outboard, and some OE bolt plugs for thse, alaFrankitis. Looks tiiiiiiiiiiidy slick!

will post pics soon... paint guy shag'd all the bits last night for the final colormatch, will mount up Thurs - wooot!

That sounds nice Paul. Like what you've done/doing to your ride.
Mine has the smaller boobs. Not complaining, I'm a longtime fan of Euro boobs, just not working with the diet plan. I really wanted to maintain the org. bumper, but, loose the boobs, accordions and shocks.
Unfortunately, I don't posses the required skills to fab the transition between the bumper and fender. So, I'm going w/ glass.
John Walker did this on one of his previous s/cs. Looked really nice! I think it among some others are posted in the tech forum.
BTW, that Mid Engine 911/930 is unbelievable.
