2 versions of b&b exhaust-quest???
Greetings:
My car is getting tuned right now and sounding great!!! I got alot of compliments from other customers in the shop and other mech/worshops in the area. They saw me open my car on the straightaways (industrial area.warehouses, mechshops, rigs) They were VERY WIDE EYED!! & then some of the mech guys in the neighborhood stopped by my mechs' shop for a look. My question is that my car has such a different car note compared to my mech's 930. We rebuilt-(1994) both our engines at the same time from head to toe. (minimal-ported, minimal-polished,bearings,rings,valve guides,sc cams, etc.etc.) I worked really hard -(parts cleaner) to make every internal part SUPER clean. My car has euro-headers and he has B&B-headers... Our exhausts-1994-(purchased new) are both 3'INCH B&B Dual outlets. Total different exhaust note. Till this day--He wants my exhaust!! It sill baffles him to this day. As far as he remembers back in 1994-When ordering the exhaust from B&B direct. He was advised-back then, there was a sport version. Has any one here ever experienced similar stories..What would something inside the engine make one engine so different from anothe-performance/ -sound wise ?? Plus my engine somewhat freakish--(In a good way!) Thnxs Walt |

Maybe just the different headers? That would be my guess.
