KKK parts

I am posting on behalf of a friend.
Does anyone have a source for KKK turbo rebuild parts. We live in New Zealand, so freighting the turbo to US and back would be more expensive than buying new turbo. The car is actually a 924 turbo, but the turbo is also KKK. So if anyone is rebuilding 930 KKKs they probably can source other KKK bits.
My friend has not been able to find parts for his turbo for a rebuild.
Thanks
Alan

Alan, typically if you think you need to rebuild the turbo and it really needs parts…..you can’t do it.

Look at the compressor inlet, if the blades are not damaged and they do not rub the compressor housing the turbo is probably ok for use. Don’t teardown an OK unit.

These service parts kits are inappropriate for most turbochargers and bolt-on home mechanics,.

No, we aren't planning on doing it. But he has sent it to two turbo rebuild places, and both have said parts not available. But NZ does not have access to as much stuff as you guys in US.
But I know the 930 KKK can be rebuilt in US, so maybe there are parts available for his KKK in US too.
But where to look?
Regards
Alan

Alan would you consider shipping to Australia?

Next time I am at my mechanics I will ask who he recommends.

Aus might work. The freight rates out of US are quite expensive - I can post items (eg returned Pelican bits (duplication of order etc)) for a whole lot less than they freight them to me.
But ideally it would be better to be able to get some bits freighted here rather than freighting the whole core o/seas. Just need to find someone who may have them.
Regards
Alan
