You really need to find a museum that will purchase that car. Take the proceeds and buy a 930 with some miles on it. This car is a "time machine". Just my opinion.

Thanks Ed for the fuse box shot…nice to see a non-adulterated electrical area on a 930!
Did you have any pucker moments during the wet sanding

No I started life as a boat washer, moved up to a boat waxer, when you compound and wax eighty foot boats for a living you get some buffer time. Took me almost ten year to learn how to put that damn buffer down and start making some real money.
And now I spend my free time buffing cars !! (Life plays funny ticks on you).

I bought this to see if I like driving porsches but found it not to be that fast.
930 coming so!!!!

Good move. It will draw a crowd for sure at a show. It is amazing looking at the pics. I am not into garage queens BUT this car deserves to always be one. What a find!

Not trying to be antagonistic.

If you like the results that's fine because that's what matters.

However, your use of the term "compound" and the photo showing the buffer pretty much says it all in regards to my "technology" comment.

Now a days we use polishes and glazes (among a range of other products) for paint correction and forced rotation and/or random orbital polishers to do the job.
